Mark D. Blount ( ; born November 30, 1975) is an American retired professional basketball center with four teams in the National Basketball Association between 2000 and 2009.

Blount spent his freshman year of high school in

. He then transferred to Oak Hill Academy. He then went to Dobbs Ferry High School for his senior year and was named Mr. Basketball for Westchester County. He played his collegiate basketball at the University of Pittsburgh before being drafted 54th overall in the

Off the court

When his career ended in 2010, Blount purchased investment properties in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida as well as opening Auntie Anne's franchises in the area. As of 2018, he lived in
